Adam Goldenberg is one of the most innovative social media fashion salesmen. He’s the cofounder of an e-commerce exclusive fashion outlet that started as JustFab but was recently renamed to TechStyle Fashion Group. The rebranding of this company came about because the company moved beyond the basic sales platform to using data analytics and customer shopping recognition tools. Adam Goldenberg said he wanted to redo the customer rewards and VIP program to having more features and better ways to opt out of than what it previously had. He and his co-CEO Don Ressler have taken the company to shopping malls and outlets by opening brick and mortar stores as many customers have expressed the need to still try on shoes and apparel.
Adam Goldenberg started in the online marketing and sales profession when he was still only a teenager. He decided to launch his own company for gamers known as Gamer’s Alliance in 1996. Just three years into its existence, digital marketing and social media parent company Intermix Media decided to buy it and hire Goldenberg onto their team at http://www.hudl.com/profile/4913266/adam-goldenberg. He started as the Director of Creative Strategy but was so good at his job that he became a company executive at only age 20 and made headlines on many business newspapers.
While working at Intermix Media, Goldenberg became the partner of another salesman named Don Ressler, the founder of FitnessHeaven.com. Both Goldenberg and Ressler were eager to make e-commerce the mainstream way to drive profits, and not long into their friendship they were already working on an e-commerce platform for Intermix Media according to onmogul.com. In 2003 they completed that platform with Alena Media, Intermix Media’s only revenue-generating subsidiaries. Unfortunately for Goldenberg and Ressler, Intermix Media was bought out by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp company and the new owners decided they didn’t need Alena Media.
Adam Goldenberg and Ressler decided to take their talents to a new business startup and in 2005 they laid the groundwork for Intelligent Beauty. Their products sold under this company included health supplements, exercise gear, cosmetics and other health and beauty products. In 2010 they decided to make fashion shopping cheap and affordable through their new company, JustFab on rgtadvisors.com. That company grew quick and acquired several outlets including ShoeDazzle and Fabletics. It started out being funded by Matrix Partners, Passport Capital and Crosscut Ventures, but in 2014 Goldenberg and Ressler had generated so many profits that JustFab became a cashflow independent company.
