The advertising industry is often seen as a fickle sector to work within, but Alexandre Gama has shown longevity and continued success can be found in an industry where remaining relevant has not proven a problem for the graduate of Fundacao Armondo Alvares Penteado. The career of Alexandre Gama has seen him rise from the lowest rung of the industrial ladder when he entered the industry as a writer with the Standard Ogilvy Agency in 1982, after moving to DM9 in 1990 as a copywriter Gama soon became the most awarded writer in the Brazilian advertising industry.
At this point the rapid rise of Alexandre Gama began as he moved to AlmapBDO and Young & Rubicam in executive positions that allowed him to express his own personality and build his reputation to even greater levels. In 1999, Alexandre Gama set out to establish his own agency that would eventually become Neogama; throughout the early years of the 21st century Neogama was associated with the London based BBH agency for whom Gama acted as the Chief Operating Creative Officer. Alexandre Gama been appointed to the board of the Brazilian Association of Advertising Agencies which looks to protect and advance the industry in Alexandre’s home country.
